Upon Arrival, I Greeted Eric And Promptly Assessed The Issue. Eric Reported That While The Unit Was Turning On, There Was No Flame Present. I Adjusted The Thermostat To 80 Degrees To Initiate A Heat Call And Began My Inspection Of The Furnace. Upon Inspection, I Identified A Clogged Inducer Port, Preventing The Pressure Switch From Closing And Not Allowing The Igniter To Activate.. I Promptly Cleaned The Inducer Port And Conducted A 15-minute Test Run To Ensure Proper Functionality.
During The Wait, I Took The Opportunity To InformEric On The Potential Cause Of The Clog, Noticing Water Marks On The Metal Pipes Connecting To The Chimney. Eric Expressed Interest In Receiving A Quote To Elevate His Two Condensers, Which Were Sinking, And Also Mentioned Recurring Dust Issues Despite Recent Vent Cleaning.
