Upon Arrival Furnace Operations Were Starting But The Flame Sensor Was Faulty. Cleaned Up Flame Sensor But It Still Wouldn’t Sense Flame & Had A Low Micro Amp, Replaced Flame Sensor & Furnace Operations Were Good, Recommended Homeowners Furnace Maintenance & They Accepted, Humidifier Maintenance Also Done, Current Air Filter Good.

Pre-start-up Operations Are Good, Switches Are Good. Motors Are Working Within Amp Rate, Cleaned Up Motor Housing, The Interior Of The Furnace, Flame Sensor. Declined Humidifier Maintenance. Post Clean Up, Start-up Operations Are Good.

Upon Arrival, The Customer Explained The System Turning On Heat And Cooling At The Same Time. The Customer Also Explained Code 22
Diagnosis - I Removed The Thermostat From The Circuit Board And Turned On Cooling, While I Was Calling For Cooling The Heat Tried Turning On. Leading Me To Believe In Faulty Circuit Boards. Next Test I Called For Heat On The Circuit Board And Could Hear The Bearings In The Inducer Failing, Followed By The Ignitor Not Igniting. I Tested Incoming 120 To Verify Proper Voltage.
